Love is in the air, organization love, that is! We’ve been busy getting families organized this month, but we wanted to take a moment to share one of our absolute favorite “workhorse” products and how to use it.
We are obsessed with the Multi-Purpose Bin from The Container Store. It comes in several sizes, it’s incredibly durable, and the clear finish allows it to blend seamlessly with any room’s décor. Here are three different ways we use this versatile bin to transform our clients’ homes.
1. In the Kids’ Rooms
We love using the small bins to contain paints, coloring books, and paper. Because they are lightweight, they are easy for kids to handle safely. The open-top design makes it simple for little hands to take the bins out for a project and, more importantly, put them back when they are finished!
2. In the Home Office
The large Multi-Purpose bin is a fantastic solution for for extra paper supplies in a home office. You can fit notebooks, copy paper, folders and more in it!
- Pro Tip: Add labels to the front or the side of the bin to make finding your specific supplies even quicker!
3. Under the Kitchen or Bathroom Sink
This is one of our favorite places to utilize this product!
- Daily Cleaning: The medium bin is perfect for holding daily essentials like counter wipes and sanitizing sprays.

Think “Outside the Label”
The secret to a truly organized home is learning to think outside the label! An organizing product might be marketed for the pantry, but if the dimensions work perfectly for your hair tools or your garage supplies, it’s the perfect fit.
